I know she's arguably the biggest current pop star but it's still so surreal seeing her debut #1 as someone who was into her during the Hollywood records days.

Ignoring the only song that has any hit potential at all while promoting too good. What's crazy about the radio situation is she has not one but two hits on those formats. It wasn't like they had to start from scratch with building her a new base. it's been nothing but suffering since humble quest for us maren maniacs

Excited for new music but major MEH to the entire EP AND People Still Show Up being on the album. I thought PSSO was a promo track for something really boring. I loved cut! Just wished it was longer because I could see that kind of pop sound working for her. Hero is one of my favorite debut albums ever and I loved GIRL too. Humble Quest was a really weird "era" because it was way more traditionally country than I expected, especially after The Bones did wonders for her. Hoping she can rebound but nervous there's not much of a space for her.

I loved Subject to Change and the Welcome Mat EP had me thinking this album would be insane. But I gotta agree that this is underwhelming sonically and lyrically. She also hasn't had a legitimate hit in so long so I'm not hopeful about future single performances.

Love this but it could have been an album track even if she still released the video as promo for the album. pink baby seems like a better single to go with this sound, like a less grating I Luv It
