When Flowers came out everyone was questioning its numbers and calling it a fraud but I feel like most people know the song and it’s the biggest hit this year.

 

Now, Seven by latto & jungkook has been smashing on global Spotify and is still #1 despite several releases from big artists and it’s still pulling big numbers like +7M stream on its 45th day AND on a Sunday  and I feel like nobody knows this song.. lol I certainly have never heard it.

 

How come nobody is questioning this?

What's strange it's performing Better than any bts Song ever. And i mean way way way Better. 

the support from the fanbase and amount of versions obviously play a role but it’s a HIT on its own regardless

like it’s all over my IG reels (and i assume it’s the same for tiktok?)

the thing about BTS is that their stans keep streaming non-stop so it could reach a number/goal 

but when the GP start knowing the song, it gets ""real"" streams + their streaming parties = huge numbers. 

this happened with Dynamite and now Seven. Other songs like the Jimin one was almost all streaming parties, basically nothing organic. 

I think Seven is just a song that clicked a little bit like Dynamite + their streaming parties = a huge combination. 

 

Flowers had gigantic Spotify autoplay 2nd week. Thats it. 

It's a smash hit with the GP (no doubts about that) but the record-breaking stats was helped by the autoplay it got 2nd week, it's a different situation from stans streaming it non-stop.

Jimin & V’s songs from this year haven’t had this kind of longevity and peak on global Spotify tho so it’s not the fan base…

to be fair jungkook had a bigger push than all of them (V’s songs weren’t even added to TTH ) and seven is very catchy

he is also the most popular member

The song is a FRAUD.. how is it getting a Million streams each daily from Thailand and Vietnam alone?

It's obviously fraud. It makes no sense how it's literally twice as big as any BTS hit and pacing the same as the biggest Spotify hits of all time

Every release related to BTS is a fraud except maybe Dynamite

i was shocked to hear how good this song is  jon bellion wrote it apparently. it's believable this is clicking with more people than bts's terrible music but these numbers are a bit much

It's a combination of both : BTS stans mass streaming + organic streams from the GP.

 

We all know about that fanbase streaming parties but there's no way the song would continue to pull massive numbers after a month without at least a bit of support from the public.

It's initial rise was propelled by BoTS scammery, but it's actually a good song so there's definitely gp support.

He has always been the most popular and left & right did great too on Spotify it has over 800M streams. It’s not like Miley suddenly smashing after having moderate hits for years  Like where’s the correlation??

Miley has multiple songs over 800M streams on Spotify too lol I don’t know what you’re on about.
Go out and ask anybody if they know flowers vs. seven and you’ll get a very clear picture of what’s going on here

Did I say Miley doesn’t have hits? I said she her latest singles were doing moderately until flower. 
And Asia has billion people, I’m sure they’re more familiar with seven than flower  

It gets like 2M streams filtered out every day at this point in its run, which points towards mass streaming

1. Spotify’s data shows most of its users are from Anglo countries and then Latin countries. And Seven plummeted in those countries official charts after the 1st week.

2. Asian countries often have other streaming platforms rivaling Spotify that the majority of those countries use instead. Just check South Korea Spotify and see how much streams the #1 fraud song “Seven” is getting daily.
