H.E.R. has no top 40 hits why is this even a question

Because going Top 40 one week isn't relevant to long term consumption

Isn't this the song ATRL considers Katy Perry's last hit over 5 years later with a Top 5 peak & Hot 100 Year End position. :rip:

H.E.R. is an industry plant and has one actual hit that people outside the US know… which is a feature. Lizzo has global smash hits like Truth Hurts, Good As Hell and About Damn Time.

i swear we on page one and Witness’ stats are already being pulled :chick3:

HER is more consistent it feels like whereas when Lizzo hits she HITS

so I guess HER for the slow burn and Lizzo for the big smashes

I wasn’t aware HER was a hit maker

how many times has she cracked the top 10 on the hot 100?

We just pretending Best Part wasn't H.E.R's equally owned song till the lawsuit to leave her management :bibliahh:That song ain't no "feature":toofunny2:

Also Could've Been went viral on Tik Tok so definitely not local. It has over 1M videos under the sound. It's global Spotify #s are decent for a R&B song

HER has no hits. Lizzo has at least two songs that are played everywhere.

Even then CTTR is still a bigger song worldwide more certifications and all, H.E.R. might the biggest example of local since you using eligibles (not even certifications) she only has RIAA certs and maybe a couple of canadian and british ones, then THAT'S IT.

Her biggest song is the 2nd most streamed English Female song of all time in both Thailand & Philippines on Spotify, so no she's not.:coffee2:

No artists buy certifications for those countries for some reason.

Anyways, obviously she's more local than Katy Perry. She's a pure R&B singer:bibliahh:

0 and yet all the songs in the OP are bigger than 2/3 of Nicki Minaj's #1 "hits". What a concept.:swan:

Certainly an interesting concept.

almost as interesting as the fact that Miss Her doesn’t have a radio number one a hot 100 number one an Apple Music number one or a Spotify number one

We adore concepts

Whatever will she do without peaking at #1

Surely isn't stopping "Best Part" reaching DIAMOND status by 2025. But it's "not a hit". K

Then why compare her with Lizzo who also makes pop music obviously Lizzo would be the biggest hitmaker with WW hits :rip:

This site calls Lizzo local though:rip:

Anyways, the framing of the OP is based on the US so...

Doing a tad much aren’t we

Best Part being a hit is a fact and we love that for Belle

however that’s not what your thread is about is it?

its about HER being a hit maker and she is nothing of the sort

Most people on the streets wouldn’t even know who her is in fact i didn’t even know her until i came here.

She’s practically unknown where I’m from.

Lizzo is 9 times bigger. I’d choose Lizzo because i can vision what she looks like without using Google

Cause there are like 150 other countries apart from the US where Katy’s singles are successful, can’t say the same for this H.E.R girl
