Taylor Swift is following in the footsteps of the Queen of Rap by casting actor John Early in her music video for Anti-Hero. The actor got his break in the music video Squidward Nose by Cupcakke. Are we surprised that Cupcakke is influencing Taylor Swift?

    It doesnt surprise me, since Cupcakke was inspired by Taylor’s diaristic lyrics on Red/Speak Now when she wrote this minor internet hit. It’s her All Too Well/Dear John

    I feel so sad that the plans for You Need to Calm Down (ft. Cupcakke) fell through because Cup had retired. She deserved to be the first female rapper to collab with Tay instead of Ice. I mean Taylor likes Ice but she actually went on record about how this song inspired YnTC and her need to speak up about politics. I think Cup is one of the biggest black woman figure in Tay’s life and it’s just mutually inspiring. I hope they reconnect some day for us gays
