I find it interesting how acts like him draw bigger attendance than any MPG but there's always less media coverage when they do. He feels like a non-event next to other tours happening rn but that's objectively not true.

I mean, he did a 360 stage so it makes sense. Comparing the attendance of 360 stages with normal stages can be misleading.

He’s filling these seats on his past records. Touring and going to concerts is really in right now after 3 years of lockdown

His tickets are really cheap... so cheap that people think that they get a bargain for a face value ticket.

Comparing these Mcdonalds price tickets  attendance for a 360 tour to tours with genuine demand cheapens those "records".

Taylor is one of the biggest artists in history. Why are you this threatened about someone else being successful as well? Someone who she's good friends with, at that?

Someone already clocked you with the tweet you're posting, so I'm not gonna bother. His average ticket price for Met Life Stadium (where he also broke an attendance record) was $103.85. That's not a cheap average, especially considering that 360 view occupies a good chunk of floor seats (historically some of the most expensive tickets) and has significantly more nosebleeds than the average concert, which will undoubtedly lower the whole average. Coldplay's average on Met Life was $112 with a normal stage. Both had two shows, Ed made 18M and Coldplay made 13M, so clearly Ed is the one who's benefiting from this setup.

 

Now what?

I was at the show and it was honestly great. I think the amount of attendees has more to do with the fact that the entire floor was GA, not so much that it was a 360° setup. Last few shows I’ve been to at Gillette have all been seated floors. I wish P!nk would go back to GA floors instead of selling thousand dollar floor seats. 🤪

I much rather prefer GA, they're cheaper and if it's a good concert you're gonna have a much better time
