They tap into a just-under-the-mainstream pop/rnb sound that could easily be released by a pitchfork darling type artist + have unique (at least among kpop at the moment) minimalist visual marketing + being very easy to listen = arts AND the charts.

 

Imo too, they don't have much of that typical kpop feel that most other GG's have rn, so they have an easier time crossing over (also helps being backed by Hybe lmao)

Not 100% sure, but one of the names they might working with for next album are Lolo Zouai and Ayelle. They were in studio together with NJ producers in Seoul.

i believe for EPs there was a rule that it must have a certain length and be sold at a price higher than $3.49 to be able to chart. If this is eligible, it could definitely go top 5

last week Super Shy was showing up on the All Access Spincrease list but has not for the last several days . hopefully that or another song will get a radio push.
