ETA is SOTY! I can finally unleash my obsession with it and stream all day. 

 

250 is such a hitmaker, we need him for NJ1 so bad 

 

 

MV was great. Them recording Mikel's cheating on iPhone while performing got me laughing. End that cheater for me! The girls were too stunned by how events escalated I fear, because me too. 

1. Super Shy (fun, enjoyable pop music, good melody, catchy chorus, best music video)
2. Cool With You (great cross audience appeal,  gorgeous vocals/artistry showcase)
3. ETA (club banger but relies too much on the production + chorus, verses aren't that great)
4. New Jeans (cute little intro, very on-brand with the soundscape)
5. ASAP (a little repetitive, the teaser snippet was the only good part)
6. Get Up (too short to judge)

 

Overall solid project accompanied by top of the industry visuals that truly sets them apart from other 4th gen groups. NewJeans hwaiting!

Cool With You is amazing and transition to Get Up right away. Heaven 

 

ASAB baby is cute track. Beat slaps me thinks.  Hanni/Hyein verse 2 is so nice.

Get Up wasn't really needed but overall it's really a great listen

And it is!

The more I listen to the EP, the more I wish the songs actually segued into each other since the tracklist flows so well and the placement of each track makes sense.

Yeah, I am not sure why it is named Get Up. Might be something concept/story telling related which i can't grasp. 

 

Not 100% sure, but one of the names they might working with for next album are Lolo Zouai and Ayelle. They were in studio together with NJ producers in Seoul.

I don't know if it's the impact of amazing music video, but Cool With You might be my #1, I'm a fan of UK garage sound too so I guess it makes sense.

 

ETA video is also so well made for an all iPhone shot visual
