I don't know why she chose this time to release. Speak Now tv clearly affected this song very strongly. 

I would imagine Vampire deeply appeals to her fanbase, and reinforcing her fanbase is more important for an artist following in Taylor's footsteps than massive hits, IMO.

the overreactions in here.... jesus. at the end of the day, this will be a #1 for her and prob stay stable inside the top 5 for months. and it will prob be bigger than deja vu and traitor so having this being on track to become her 3rd biggest hit is not bad at all. i'm actually fine with this not being a drivers license type of smash because chances are if that was the case, the 2nd single would get eclipsed by it and i'm still not over that happening with deja vu

I've always thought the song doesn't fit the Summer season. especially in Europe we don't eat this kind of songs up.
