How Will They Be Remembered?

Featured Replies

When it's all said and done, how will their careers be remembered bye the GP?

Gaga

Rihanna

Beyonce

Taylor

Katy Perry

Adele

Remove Katy and Gaga

And other 4 will be remembered as the batch of biggest musical artists the world has ever seen

When was the last time Gaga and Katy gave good album? They might be remembered here and there ig for their music

They’ll all go down as legends & icons.

Gaga reinvinted her career and has transcended being a popstar, she’s now a film actress and a versatile musician. Her career is in the best spot that it has been in a long time.

Adele, Beyonce and Taylor will be remembered as legends.

Rihanna, Katy and Gaga as a very influential products of their time. They haven’t really released influential albums that will trascend time (maybe teenage dream)

Lady Gaga is our generation's Cher, mark my words. She will absolutely be remembered and for reasons beyond pop music.

No one is going to remember Katy Perry lol.

Adele is like a discount version of Celine, so I guess she'll be remembered for a nice voice and some ballads.

The rest are some of the biggest pop icons ever and Taylor / Beyonce are our generation's version of Madonna, so they'll be seen as pop legends at some point, if not already.

Gaga - success in multiple fields (a la Cher), huge peak

Rihanna - fashion icon, hitmaker of her generation

Beyonce - music legend, performer of her generation, excellence

Taylor - insane consistency, songwriting, classic albums

Katy Perry - not on the same level as the others, but still a defining figure of an era of music

Adele - gigantic peak, bringing the recession-pop era to a halt

Gaga - controversy of the beggining of her career + talent. overall talent.

Rihanna - her hit singles

Beyonce - good performances and black power activism

Taylor - her discography (+ songwriting)

Katy Perry - her hit singles

Adele - her voice and some classics

Gaga will be remembered as a triple threat, a legend and someone who truly changed pop culture's landscape. The way she's leaving her mark on music, fashion and movies is quite incredible, even though she's less successful now, she's such a big A-list star.

Rihanna is quite the same tbh, sans movies but adding her business ventures.

Beyoncé is a queen and she's on her way to be up there with Madonna, MJ, Prince, Janet, etc. among the greats. Her cultural and political impacts are unmatched for someone under 50. She's a phenemenon.

Taylor will be remembered as a great songwriter, a-la Joni Mitchell, and someone with tremendous success. I believe Folklore and Evermore will be way more remembered than anything more pop she's done.

Katy Perry will be our generation's Cyndi Lauper. People will know a few songs, love them, use them as party staples but won't be able to recognize her. She will still remain somewhat relevant.

Adele will be like Céline. Someone above the crowd, loved and respected, a legend in her own league.

I pretty much agree with all of this lol

Gaga - A risk taker and triple threat who left her mark on music/fashion/and movies

Rihanna - The greatest hit maker of her generation, Fashion icon, and business mogul

Beyonce - One of the greatest performers of all time, a model of excellence and hard work

Taylor - A savvy business woman and greatest storyteller of her generation

Katy Perry | I agree with the Cyndi Lauper similarities

Adele | The Celine equivalence is pretty spot on

I think Katy will be remembered more like Avril or Christina. An icon of her generation but not really relevant to today’s musical landscape.

Real talk: If Sydney Lauper is considered a legend… I think our faves will all be fine in the end

Beyoncé is already seen as the bar for female entertainers for how she stomped both with a group and solo getting compared to MJ all the time. They’ve been calling her the queen for like 10 years now

Gaga will be seen as an actress that used to be a pop star

Rihanna will be seen as the new estee lauder

Adele will be the new queen of vegas, celine is shaking

Taylor will be like a Bruce Springsteen Paul McCartney type of artist with a huge fanbase that people always pack out tours for

Katy will not be held in high regard and her husbands acting career will outshine hers but it’s okay cuz he’s hot
