The fact no one knows them and they had this kind of debut

Wait not this song being a rip off of Hozier’s “Take Me To Church” for Gen Z

The overdramatic ending  when its just a wall of sound and the vocals are the same as the other chorus

a Hozier & Lewis Capaldi crossbred! Lord Jesus have mercy on us!!!

The song is actually pretty bad and not even that Tik Tok able. I imagine it is payola'd and will drop off soon

I didn’t expect much to begin with but this is genuinely unlistenable to me

"Daylight" had 90k+ pre-saves and 250k+ TikTok videos ahead of its arrival https://hitsdailydouble.com/the_bside&id=335459.
it's produced by Rob Kirwan who produced Take Me To Church with Hozier.
he released "Elk Grove" last month and it has 1.5M streams (it got 86k on its biggest streaming day)

who?

I know him a bit. He actually pretty popular among the folk music genre. He has very good playlisting in folk pop genres on Spotify and Apple Music. He trending a little because a lot hipsters and folk music fans are currently listening to that type of music a lot during spring and summer. If you guys check his Spotify page he actually has very good streams for a folk artist.
