But she didn’t really. All of those dumb photoshoots they made them do are not usable in any portfolio, the only runways they had were like Saw movies Jigsaw puzzles, the commercials they did were always either in a different language, uncomfortable situation or not even for real brands etc. 

 

The only thing Tyra and that show gave them was humiliation, traumatising situations and lowered confidence levels. 

It was problematic, yes. 

It is iconic, absolutely yes.

The way audience switched in just 10 years. Some of the shit that happened on this show continued until the very end.

 

But the only way that these lashings will stop is if they remove it on streaming and stop making money from it. None of the contestants get any coins from it.

The race swapping episode is probably the wildest thing to come out of that show.

Modeling shows as a whole can’t really exist well in the current US climate, as judging anyone based off their physical appearance will be seen as unfavorable at best.
