this always sounded like a smash to me and the video is def one of her best

the video is high camp just like ARTPOP itself and it takes intelligence to appreciate that!

It is an overproduced mess, very noisy and chaotic. Her single that deserved better is Eh Eh

Nothing from Gaga would've smashed at that time. The GP completely abandoned her.

That distinction belongs to The Edge of Glory.

 

Overlooked as Born This Way's obvious follow-up single, rushed out as the third single after Judas already destroyed her relationship with US radio and then cursed with a botched music video. 

 

M.E.H. got a big flashy music video but nobody cared for the song. 

The verses, the chorus and the bridge are 10/10.

 

The extremely weak chorus tho brings the whole song down to 6/10.

Trash single that was never going to be a hit on a trash album. Deservingly bombed.

Nothing will be more cringe than Applause’s chorus 

“give me that thing that I love, put your hands up make them touch” then spelling out applause 

Her best music video did that

Yeah, releasing GUY as a single is basically a fan-service. Just something for the fans ala 911.

 

Sex Dreams (Rihanna Remix)  would've been at least a hit. 

well as a song it isnt exactly amazing so deserving of a smash might be overboard
