Good for her that this sounds like another hit, but it's disappointing to see her go down this singles artist route when with The Pinkprint she really showed she can be an album artist with depth. The three opening tracks of that album remain the high point in her career.

I don’t know if she sees being an album artist as a viable path for her tbh. She doesn’t have that big of a touring base, the gaps between her albums are too long, etc. Also, I wonder if these singles are what she thinks her core fanbase + locals/casual listeners want from her?
