Miley obvs made a choice not to keep her “friends” close.

Since Taylor is homophobic and Miley is bisexual, Taylor was scared and ended the friendship.

One time during Miley’s messy era around 2015 she posted a meme of Taylor and Justin Bieber face swapped and Taylor condescendingly commented “Sending you love.”

“Sending you love” is such a kiii  And honestly was a clear sign there’s some tension there. I think someone else hit the nail on the head, Taylor is very uptight especially about her image and Miley is way more care free and “real”, Taylor probably distanced herself to maintain her image and Miley pokes fun at her for that image in question because she knows the real Taylor behind and she will never crack to address Miley her antics.

miley seems super chill and down to earth. she keeps it real.

Probably a PR friendship and nothing more. It’s hollyweird 

taylor seems like a really boring person and miley’s the complete opposite. i’m not surprised someone like miley who used to be a party queen and wild child doesn’t want to hang out with grandma swift 

Is Taylor really anyone’s friend tbh? he collects them for her needs and leaves them behind 

I think it's because of  jealousy and the media influence on it. Taylor was hailed as an artist while Miley and the other girls were just seen as Disney machine at one point. I pictured Miley being mad because Taylor became too successful and started seeing everything she does in a negative way.  It's always been one sided just like Demi. Some of their drags were justified but some weren't. Interesting how Taylor has never talked bad about both of them and feed into the dramas but she's the bad guy. 

They were probably never really that close and whatever friendship they had going naturally fell apart after 2009. Both went on very different paths. And I think Taylor was probably put off by Miley's 2013 phase, which maybe created some sense of animosity between them (to the public), but i don't think there's anything more to it.
