Right, people forget that SNSD were always massive in digital singles. Even Hoot was bigger then a lot of hits todaythe revisionist history I see online.

Iirc even Mr.Taxi and Paparazzi went #1 on Korean chart, not sure which?  @Eternium I need you sis to confirmed this. 

 

 

Hoot was 2nd after Oh! in 2010 on songs that made that most impact that year so yes it was massive. It's their 4th National Hit in a row 

 

 

They had the Hits, album sales that rivals boy groups, tour, IT Girls, the fandom, the GeePee. SNSD's peak was the biggest peak for a Girl Group in Korea

I'm glad Yujin shined this era (protect him at all costs) but its over for everyone when Gunwook takes over next era, he is such a hidden gem and is super underutilized so far

 

 

 

Also not to be a hater or anything (I would never) but can't the knetz find something worthy of sending Gyuvin on "indefinite hiatus"??? He gives a big fat nothing, not sure what he does successfully.

 

Did I already talk about how happy I am that Yujin has an older, more experienced idol like Jiwoong fighting in his corner? There's almost 9 years age difference between them and you can always tell that Jiwoong is looking out for Yujin and making sure he is well taken care of

 

I'd still be more happy if children weren't being debuted but its inevitable that they'll continue to be, so I wish every group could have a Jiwoong to advocate and look out for the younger ones who might not realize they're being mistreated or taken advantage of

The K-Pop Industry should really invest in doing a K-Pop festival like Governor's Ball but strictly for K-Pop Acts imagine a weekend full of performances by CL, JEON SOMI, HYORI LEE, BOA, HYUNA, CHUNGHA, AESPA, G-IDLE, IVE, EVERGLOW, LE SSERAFIM, NEWJEANS, ITZY phew

That doesn't really prove anything cause Genie was a cultural event and overall massive.  It was #2 after Gee in 2009 that made the most noise and impact
