Gidle does get left out of the gen leader conversation for sure, even more than IVE. I wouldn’t say it’s cause they’re hated on but more cause they’ve been around for way longer, they feel like they come from an entirely different generation. If they score another hit next comeback it’ll be impossible to ignore

Part of it because Antifragile was a Raegaeton song that will attract Latin and Hispanic people to listen. And it's been 5 months since the AL cb so of course IVE monthly listener peak are lower.

 

I'll say IVE will the more successful with more hates they received and their next cb will be another smash provided Starships gave them top notch music.

Yeah the Gidle erasure when it comes to 4th gen ggs conversations needs to stop. Their music quality and concepts are some of the best this generation and they’ve obviously had enough success to warrant one of the top ggs title.

Gidle were having hits around 2018 when Gen 3 was in full force, which is why they are more associated with Gen 3 than Gen 4.

I mean the overall peak, IVE peaked at around 8.7 million listeners a few months ago, LSFM are currently at 9.8

My 2 cents on Gidle was they unfortunately being overshadowed by other ggs. During their first 2 years of rookie years 3rd gen ggs like BP, Twice and RV are still smashing with 4th gen ggs like IZ*ONE, and Izzy have debut songs smash right out of gate. On top of that Cube was a mess in terms of marketing their artists and then the Soojin scandal didn't help them either.
