Ive always wondered when will we ever see a Filipino male idol in kpop. Maybe this is my personal wish because I find Filipino boys very handsome  and also they generally tend to be really good singers and have that stereotype going on.

 

The closest we have is Jay from Boys Planet and I really hope he debuts

Deflect from what? Miss Korea is indeed way more influential than Miss Strawberry everywhere around the world which automatically makes her the bigger it-girl, like it's no competition? You act as if Koreans aren't the biggest success stans and don't kiss the ground the BP members walk on and don't view them as "national treasures".

Yeah it's weird how there isn't any Filipino idol cause there's this stereotype about almost every Filipino can belt like crazy, and them having the best singers in the world
