My talented main fave Lee Know has the shortest training period ever in idol history and was only a trainee for 2 months before joining Stray Kids. He literally went from being a back up dancer for your faves (BTS) to literally joining Stray kids in the span of 7 months  

 

He also used to be in a dance crew called Soul Dance along with some of the biggest names in the dance industry such as Bada Lee, Vata etc. who are now choreographing for most Kpop groups today. The dance crew also participated in World Of Dance, which is he biggest dance competition in the world. 

 

JYP themselves wanted him to join their company due to his talents and his crazy dance resumé. He learned the 40 basic JYP dance moves in 2 weeks only, which broke the previous holder who was thé Momoriah Carey, which took her 4 months. Lee Know is indeed the best dancer of his generation and one of the best dancer in this industry in general. If Lee Know didn't become an idol, he would choreographing for all your faves right now. 

 

Leeyoncé Knowles is and all rounder who can sing (he has one of the prettiest tones ever), dance, rap, perform and is basically and one of the most versatile members of SKZ. He's also fine af

Idk how Nayeon is a “lead dancer” and not Jihyo

also Jihyo is a “main vocalist” but Nayeon mostly gets more adlibs and better parts.
Both Jeongyeon and Nayeon are “lead vocalists” but JY gets less lines than the subvocalists while NY more than main vocalist 

the others seem accurate but Momo and Mina having the same positions still seems weird. 

mina is literally the third or fourth worst dancer of the group  idk why jyp gave her a dance position when there's like 5 other people better than her..

And that should inform as to Warner's involvement in this.  They provided some seed money (unusual, not unprecedented), but they weren't going to start pouring on the fertilizer until the thing showed signs of sprouting.  And it didn't when they threw everything at their launch.  This is where the company has to do some creative financing to take another quality shot, which looks to be what happened here.  With a single arrow, nonetheless. 

 

Really, if Warner had some secret sauce to make random kpop groups they invest in popular, then things like A.kor would still be touring latin america right now.

The way Mina is an introvert in everything, from her personality, to her singing to her dancing  Like I can't really explain it, but it's as if she's constantly holding herself back in everything, and someone needs to tell her to shake things off and just go off

imo it should be like this:

jihyo: main vocalist, lead dancer

nayeon: lead vocalist, center

jeongyeon: lead vocalist

momo: main dancer, lead rapper

sana: suh vocalist and lead dancer

mina: visual, sub vocalist

dahyun: lead rapper

chaeyoung: main rapper

tzuyu: visual

 

you can also give sub vocalist positions to the rappers but it’s kind of useless since they mostly rap and only sing when it’s needed nnn

tldr positions don't really matter when they're picked a decade after a group debuts idk why y'all do so much

It just goes to add more fake achievements to get brownie points over other fandoms than actually prop up and evaluate individual talent. There's no objective truth to anything that people say about idols talents because pop sensibilities and training are not technical and much harder to be objective about because there isn't an institutional foundation to compare them to that's worthwhile. "Taemin is the best 2nd gen main dancer who is still in his late 20s and has debuted in multiple generations" type teas... Find better things to argue about

Yeah this sounds about right. Although Tzuyu should also get sub-vocalist because she’s a better vocalist than Sana now lol.

And the rappers do sing in the Bsides but they’re weak singers so might as well just only rap.

Move Chaeyoung and Dahyun to the end and you have a more accurate ranking.

Well, Rose is one disbandment away from me stanning her again, if she actually still enjoys music/being an artist and not a commercial mannequin.

Lisa is a little cringey but her charisma is off the charts and both her songs are fun. Money is an anthem (despite the royalty free sample).

Jennie's was released back when I was a stan so more nostalgia factor there. Its saved by the last instrumental, because she's almost as equally as untalented as Jisoo.

 

Jisoo literally offered nothing and I don't think she's cool enough for "great gowns" to be a reason to enjoy it. Actually, I think there is absolutely nothing to enjoy about Jisoo's solo past the first watch and seeing the "looks" for the first time.
