If Lady Gaga can be called by LM’s so Katy should be even more so Called a Legend

I wouldn't call Katy a legend. If she didn't burn out by Witness and kept her momentum going a tiny bit longer i would be inclined to call her a legend. But she didn't.

You're just setting her up to get dragged.

She's a pop icon, that's undeniable.

Teenage Dream will outlive any album from any of her peers except maybe 21 or TF/M. She set the tone for an entire decade of music, undeniably a legend I fear.

Legend K

Not even an icon, this word gets thrown every minute losing its real meaning

No.

Nope! an icon for sure

Yes , she is a living Legend

the female MJ of our generation

her records won’t be broken !!

She's an icon but she's not a legend, all of her albums are mixed/panned, she's not able to sell out 4k+ theaters, her last album spent like 4 weeks on Billboard...

Her last successful era was back in 2013 (almost a decade ago) so no

Yes

OT: icon like her peer lady gaga

She should be

You can even debate that she’s not a Icon either

She did something no other artist was doing at her peak so yeah she is. Other than Rihanna or Gaga, what other 2000’s popstar had as many back to back to back to back Hits that define an Era? If Riri, Gaga, & Beyoncé are legends them Katy must be one too. People talk about her downfall, but forget she probably had the strongest peak of all Main Popgirls post 2008
