I’m a little confused, isn’t Wasted on You from Morgan’s January 2021 album? … why is it winning an award in November 2022, when there was an AMA ceremony in November of 2021 the album and its songs were eligible for???

 

Edit; I just saw Running Up That Hill is nominated in Best Rock Song and it’s decades old  So I guess their eligibility rules are just really vague and open ended.

Because Wasted on You was released as an official single in March of 2022 and it had its biggest success this year.

Well if the album is so dance, like some people claim to defend the Grammy dance album nom, then she should have been nominated here too
