Hate Me and Runaway are right there like what gives

  • 3rd biggest 23 release in the UK, 1st from female and foreign artists, most downloaded album of the year.    Europe saving her ass this era.

The highs of this album are SO high, like Trustfall, Runaway, Hate Me, Feel Something, Last Call, even NGNDA

Well, after a few listens, Feel Something still remains that b!tch for me. It ends too soon though. :'(

She should hire her fans to do promo cause they’re better than her team. They’d probably just do it for some free concert tickets and merch too. I mean they’re already doing it out of love. Lol

Am I the only one who loves Feel Something? Okay... :katie:

It grew on me ALOT.

Like I felt nothing at the first listen, but I like it now. I like the soft R&B vibe of it.

It was an instant love for me... I don't know why, I just feel something, haha.

First listen and it was cute, nothing outside the title track really stuck out for me sadly, but also I didn't find myself wanting to skip anything so maybe its a grower of an album

Exactly the same for me. I find it so dreamy and (oddly) moving.

The pre-album singles should've definitely been:

1) Trustfall

2) Hate Me

Not yet sure how to follow it up

3) Runaway (no vidya in mind for this)

4) When I Get There (with the lyrics  footage video and a video in a F**kin‘ Perfect story telling way, father/daughter relationship)

5) Never Gonna Not Dance Again (wasted budget could have also made into a cute tour video, it‘s a bop afterall)

P!nk has always been pretty awful about picking a track list that flows, but this album is by far the worst with it. Starting the album with a sad ballad and ending with 4 ballads and putting like 4 uptempos with different vibes all in a row in the middle. (NGNDA > Runaway > Last Call > Hate Me). Like wtf? 💀 Last Call into Hate Me is great, but this could’ve been rearranged and flowed much better.

1. Trustfall

2. Runaway

3. Turbulence

4. Our Song

5. Never Gonna Not Dance Again

6. Long Way To Go

7. Last Call

8. Hate Me

9. Lost Cause

10. Feel Something

11. Kids In Love

12. Just Say I’m Sorry

13. When I Get There

Kids in Love is acoustic but more upbeat. There’s too many ballads that it’s hard to not have a few together but breaking some of them up with ones that are a bit more upbeat as well as flow nicer into eachother. Our Song isn’t a standout but it also suffers from the placement. It actually flows nicely into NGNDA. Even lyrically it works. I just put the tracks in this order and I’m listening now so I’ll let you know. I’m interested in what orders you guys think would work best. Cause yeah, the flow on this when listening in order is just a mess. 💀

Ok, just got to Hate Me on this order and so much better. Long Way To Go flows so much better between NGNDA and Last Call. Especially into LC. It felt so organic. Also, Trustfall into Runaway is godly.

Usually for me, if the song doesn't have an outro that leads into the next song (like Chromatica's iconic 911 transition) the arrangement doesn't really matter. But at the same time, closing the album with 4 ballads feels a bit much.

Currently going through it, whew maybe they snapped with Long Way To Go

In all fairness, we get a pretty solid 4 upbeat / midtempo run before the 4 ballads. However, I do get it. Just one more midtempo / upbeat track somewhere would break it up nicely.
