I think this is the correct asnwer

big loyal fanbase, just like gaga (but bigger)

both could've faded away after their hate trains just like katy did but they managed to stay because of their fanbases

Because she is so likeable, and not lazy, I know a lot of Gen Z who stan her even though she's been here since 2000's.

That's the impact!

This :gaylorcat1:

Real talents and strong work ethics. She's a pop girl who can write all by herself (which is already rare enough), serious about her career (strong touring work ethics even from debut), and has a habit of proving men wrong about her. So it's basically ATRL's worst nightmare. No wonder why she keep smashing :WAP:.

She's talented at writing and marketing, and she consistently exploits a victimized/underdog mindset.

I say this as a huge fan.

Songwriting is forever. Meanwhile hips don't last.

Basically this. Mediocre white girls with pretentions of greatness need someone to project into !

1. Her music keeps getting better. This is the main reason. Folklore, Evermore, the Vault tracks, Midnights, even certain cuts on Lover... the fact she's releasing the best work of her career 15 years on is genuinely amazing.

2. She has always kept the narrative fresh by reinventing herself. When it looked like she was entering the legacy phase of her career during the Loser era, she swiftly corrected course and released the stripped-down singer-songwriter album so many people were begging for. I truly do believe that even if the pandemic hadn't hapenned, we would've still gotten some form of Folklore, except marketed as a "inspired by life on tour" album or something in that form. She knew certain curtains were closing, and that she needed something fresh to truly capture people's attention like Fearless or 1989 did.

3. She has cultivated a loyal fanbase and knows exactly how to feed them.

4. After Snakegate, she learned to (mostly) remove herself from public scandals and let the silence do the talking. It helps that her enemies are people like Kanye West, Kim K and Scooter Braun, whose reputation's (do stream on Spotify) have only worsened in the last few years. She said it best: "Your nemeses will defeat themselves before you get the chance to swing".
