He's far from over, he just needs to take a break from releasing for a while & switch up his sound to something that's not 80s synthpop influenced.

He has to leave this 80s pop sound alone. It feels like that’s the only pop sound he knows. 

They said the same during the Starboy era when he released False Alarm, then the EP era when it kinda also generated no noise, then the After Hours era when the lead single plummeted and now this He will be just fine

Not at all, Abel is a fixture now. But, even as a fan.. I would love to see what sound he explores next as I think he pushed 80's synthpop to his fullest potential.

I think he still has another big album era left in him before he gets too old. I know men dont face as much ageism as women but they too start to lose fans at a certain point and become uncool to listen to. One grandpa moment and he can end up like Justin Timberlake so he needs to be careful and remain low key the more he ages so ppl dont catch on to the fact that he is getting old.

yeah JT is synonymous now with being uncool lol. When he was younger he had a bit of charm and a tiny bit of swag to him but now he is just a joke

That said, I just googled Abel's age and he is allegedly only 32 years old  I legit thought he was like 36+   He should be fine for a while longer I guess. Another two big eras left in him if he releases the right music again I guess.
