it's simple, easy, convenient, and I've had it for too long by this point to change. you can link it to other accounts as well.

 

i use outlook at work which is superior to gmail in many ways but i don't need all those functions for my personal inbox. 

It's better than the rest, and they don't delete your accounts. Years ago I had Yahoo and because I didn't login to it for a few months it was deleted  

 

Also Yahoo is covered in ads when trying to check your email. Gross. Only oldies use Yahoo. Gmail >>>

It’s just what I’ve always used. I’ve had my account since 2012.

I like the interface and functionality of it. I have been using it since it was being tested in like 2004 or so and I have stuck with it. It plays well with Outlook and stuff too if I have to use it. 

I have used Yahoo and Hotmail in the past and I found Yahoo's interface to be really cluttered and not intuitive. I also hated how they kept re-designing it and changing it quite often. Hotmail just got worse over the years. 

I use gmail and hotmail/outlook mostly to get my emails from all the accounts I have otherwise I don't use it at all.

I'm very old school and I'm still using Yahoo as my personal email  although I also utilise Gmail as a second personal account. I guess all my important networks especially work-wise are used to my Yahoo account.

 

Outlook always for my professional brand though.
