I still firmly believe their self-titled era would have gone SO differently if they had released this as the lead. The song sounded so fresh at the time, wasn’t too similar to their previous hits, is instantly catchy, and had the second best music video of their career (after WFH).

 

Down went Top 40 despite being a big letdown of a single. With Down’s promo and radio push, this could have at least gone Top 20

The way everybody has taste on self titled! It really was a mess of a career all bc of one label.

He Like That with that image woulda def been top 20! Deliver and the other tracks deserved so much more. Down is such a instant grat type of single.
