I don't know what is your source about her being irrelevant in Africa but she is one of the most streamed Western artists in Anghami (MENA region) and she is also among the top 10 most streamed artists in South Africa daily(Spotify). 

 

And she is not performing below average in South America unless your definition of "below average" is... the most streamed artist (Harry) since she is one of the top 3 most streamed artists there daily with Harry and Dua.
