The Met Gala has not been a private toned-down event for at least 10 years though, so I don’t know why he’s still holding onto that version of it. If he wants rich elite sheltered off events then he can just host dinners at his house with his famous friends lol. I adore Tom Ford, but he can come off as incredibly out of touch at times (and it’s been showing in his recent collections).

He's right, yes the theme was Camp, but there was nothing fashionable about the way she dressed, it was more of a costume.
