You're right, artistofthedecade, Taylor outsold our faves combining the four albums she put out between July 2020 and November 2021. That totally means more than their individual albums all doing better numbers than her individual numbers. How could I be so stupid? I'm gonna tell Harry to release four albums this year so he can top IFPI Artists!

It's Taylor's fault. Constantly attacking her exes and ex friends through her songs made her fans believe that bullying literally every pop star was a good thing.  And the nerve she had to release a song called You Need To Calm Down.

But that's all this person does lmao, pick and choose what statistics to pull and what counts and what doesn't to "win" every argument. Literal toxicity

Adele is what Taylor pretends to be: an underdog who came from nothing and sells more albums than any of her contemporaries based on talent alone.

Interesting how a thread attacking Swifties and Taylor has 9 pages of essays, yet the alleged threads about Adele barely reach 2 pages on a good day  (unless they're about the complete and utter flopping of 30).

2. Like another user said, if "hiding behind Adele" was the problem, you could just... drag the person hiding behind her/the artist they stan. Why come for Adele who did nothing? 3. A lot of people don't need to "hide behind Adele" anyway, since multiple of our faves are currently outselling Taylor. They'll never have her career, but who cares? Tl;dr you're excusing your anger towards Adele being lauded as the biggest female artist on top of Taylor basically her entire career by blaming other stans and it's a bunch of nonsense.

Who is Outselling Taylor? In 2020 and 2021 BTS nobody more. Has a hot single right now is not outsell, Taylor is the most consume solo artist for three years in a row. When you have to invent to make a point just show how weak it is. And sorry to discover this to you, but Adele could have the bigger albums  but the bigger female artist is Taylor and considering how even in 2021 she outsell Adele that’s not gonna change

How do Swifties still not get that Taylor does well on an artist chart because she released FIVE projects if you include long pond sessions since 2020. But when we bring that up it’s ‘you’re just pressed your fave doesn’t work as hard as Taylord’ 

 

You can never win with Swifties. They don’t battle with logic they battle with standards they make up themselves and they change them constantly to feed their own narrative. Anything to make sure another female artist doesn’t get credit cause god forbid women can co-exist and slay together
