Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” claims the chart’s top Airplay Gainer trophy for a second week (50.4 million in audience, up 22%). It tops the multi-metric Hot R&B Songs chart for a fourth week.

It’s a shame this song’s peak got blocked by other songs and album bombs, it feels bigger to me than a song peaking at #4 but I don’t really see how with RUTH rising and AIW/First Class/Wait For U all staying stable it could rise beyond that. Maybe if her radio play grows enough it could hit #3.

This has gone from a moderate hit , to a proper hit , to a smash.

Album release and promo

Lizzo opened Can’t Cancel Pride 2022 with 'About Damn Time'

Very impressive how she dodged a sophomore slump after such a long break and "Rumours" fizzling out fast.

"Special" sounds like the single of the year too, could be another huge hit for her.

This absolutely NEEDS to be her signature song.
