Apparently we don't have to cite our sources everyone, false alarm. In fact, you may be warned for doing so after mods catch an attitude in Discord DMs. 

 

I've used this thread for years without issue/incident, but for some reason was immediately hit with a posting ban for listing information that was falsely assumed to be a spoiler. I immediately try to correct the situation and now I'm somehow the problem, because someone else wants to post a vague warning to everyone instead of just admitting they made an honest error. 

 

If you wanna punish me for this, feel free, but nothing I did violated any rule.

No idea what happened, but I haven’t seen any suspicious posts/spoilers in this thread.. but it’s become more and more of an issue apparently. 
 

@mods can we get some ground rules perhaps? I hate to put more work onto the mod team, but the ambiguity between what is and isn’t a spoiler has been a consistent issue for a long time now. During AS7 it was considered a spoiler by some of the girls to just be a Monet fan, which in turn led the girls to spoil themselves. On the flipside, the MASSIVE influx of Rajah/Kylie stanning during AS6 was very suspicious for obvious reasons.

 

At what point are we just discussing queens we genuinely enjoy versus clearly spoiling with thinly veiled spoilers? I’m a Jessica/MKD/Jimbo/Lala stan because I love those girls, but if they end up winning a challenge I don’t wanna p*ss people off. So.. what’s the tea?

I posted the rules for the Fame Game twist, which were posted by a mainstream news outlet, but I didn’t clarify it came from the outlet so I was hit with an immediate warning and temporary site-wide posting ban.

 

I would have been fine with just the (false) warning, but the immediate ban after a false assumption that I spoiled the show + a warning when I made a tongue-in-check reply to an annoying situation turned me off a bit.

Seems like they could have just checked to see if it was a spoiler themselves before getting trigger happy to ban you.

And herein lies another issue; some people just genuinely start rooting for a finalist without knowing spoilers, but then get accused of knowing spoilers  I'm 100000% against spoilers and HATE to be spoiled, but I've been accused of posting them here just for liking an underdog who ends up making it far, or, even worse, accurately guessing how an episode's results would play out. This show has gotten so formulaic in parts that a good educated guess starts to look like a spoiler
