Well, that album someone described as a love child of Jessie Ware and Kali Uchis (Loaded Honey) did sound like both of them... and it also lacked everything that makes their music good. It's like marketing for books these days, say that your book is a mix of this and that, and easily gain your audience that's craving more of those. And almost in all instances the general idea is there, but it doesn't touch either of the works mentioned. Yawn.

Was never really a fan of Ellie so probably why I was unfamiliar with it.
