Honestly I was thinking about Close Your Eyes while typing that.. it was a little disappointing. She needs to experiment more

True, I liked a lot of Close Your Eyes, but it was lacking a certain something... It wasn't very passionate. I don't go back to it as often as her other albums

It's literally a mix of Blue and Be Here Soon, it felt like she wanted to make another BHS and forced herself to add some synths to not lose her 6 fans. I need to know why she randomly released Machinee and never followed that sound ever again. She definitely has more songs like that in the vault.

 

I liked most of the album too, but it felt unfinished

Part of me feels like she lost a lot of her passion. She can't keep relying on BLUE forever.. it's getting tired, like change the synths girl. 

 

 

Day 20 in a row with rain. At least better weather appears to be on the horizon soon (hopefully). 

and change the theme for once, that's why BHS was so fresh for me and I love it to this day, idc that it wasn't your usual iamamiwhoami/ionnalee album.

 

It feels like she's just dragging the story and there is no plot anymore. She's just bringing back old symbols and motifs.
