I used to attend church briefly as a teen because of my churchy friend group- I hated it, I remember the pastor would preach about voting no for same-sex marriage (this was during the Australian Marriage Survey in 2017) and I'd just sit there like

 

 

Anyway, I made the mistake of mentioning this to my super religious co-worker and now she keeps inviting me to her church services every week. And I'm such a people pleaser I'm probably gonna say yes and torture myself. Why am I like this

My college had a lot of Bible clubs that would recruit people on campus by handing out flyers. There was this one girl who would always stay outside the campus gym recruiting people, even late into the evening like 10 or 11 PM. I felt sorry for her so eventually I asked for a flyer. After that, she would always ask me if I was going whenever she'd see me. I didn't know what to say so I would always just tell her that I was figuring out my schedule.

I was sitting there waiting for a call not even realizing it was the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend. It didn't even hit me until some point in the afternoon. I guess I'll have to wait until Tuesday before I hear anything.

Glad I'm not the only one who have this thought. Same thing on Atlantic (sister label of Warner) they're currently betting on Alex Warren. 2025 is gonna be a good year for WMG with their new batch of male pop solo artists smashing left and right (most likely with payola of course)
