MAMA2022 was a mess. 

I can't even describe how disappointed I'm, the performances was so weak, and the collab was a mess.  KARA the only thing that is good at this event. 

not to mentioned gidle not winning. when they gave us song of the year it's sad. I'm happy for IVE yes but this is too much. 

Also, the cameraman was a disaster??? like???

This is not accurate. BTS still sold more albums, with one compilation album released this year (though the numbers are very close, congrats to skz). They will still end up #1-2 on IFPI.

 

They probably have more streams than the next 3 groups' streams combined.

 

They scored the 2nd biggest North American Boxscore ever ($35.9 Million) with just 4 concerts in April.

 

They are also nominated for a Grammy  

 

They were still bigger in their "flop" year. Next year will be interesting for other groups, finally. No need to be so upset about this year

yes, they have huge fandom and are recognised in the industry, but their general performance among gp this year was a HUGE FLOP - no big hits, no presence among their peers neither in Korea nor globally 

 

maybe they can unite with Stray Kids, since both struggle in that department and the girls ruled the world this past year

 

this thread made fun of BP not hitting #1 in Korea when they bagged two ww hits and did better in Korea than BTS too

One of their best songs ever. Choreo incredible too. It's a shame it wasn't a bigger hit as they were already on their way out in 2014, but the real ones remember 

 

Honestly Kara's singles run was legendary and kind of unmatched, it's a shame their albums were never that good tho
