what will all of those award shows do next year without any group activities from BTS?  they will need to made up more awards, like, „best group that is on hiatus because of the military service”

An underwhelming year for BTS is still bigger than 99% of kpop tho

what’s weird is that those award shows consider work from the whole year for the ROTY award, which doesn’t make sense 

 

like I get it, Love Dive winning SOTY is right, but every sane person can see that NewJeans had the most successful and impactfull debut out of the rookie groups and only them left empty handed  bigger than Eleven too 

MAMA gave awards to Kepler and NMIXX but left out NJ is a kii 

 

can someone tell me if knetz are happy with such outcome? I’m just curious 

did G-IDLE win anything at these awards? that isn’t fair Tomboy was one of the biggest songs this year…

also another big snub but at least they got that made up „fave female award”, while NJ was the only rookie group that didn’t got „fave new female group”, because they didn’t surpass 1m sales with their first ep  while it’s still the biggest gg debut of all time

reminded by the medley that this was a comeback for the ages tbh  the song, choreo and girls were all SNATCHED

 

DSP and the girls really tried the best they could with JY, Nicole and Sweetune leaving, shame Korea was just over them by that point.
