I like Attention, it's very chillpop and lush. The group reminds me of STAYC. I think people are comparing the song to Fearless because it has a similar breathless quality if that makes sense.

Attention is great but I can't help but think about how good it would sound if a group with good R&B vocals sang it, its begging for some musicality The girls delivery is very monotone but maybe that's the appeal

I feel like the big problem here is how Hybe markets its brand rather than groups having similar vibes tbh, kpop fans don't really understand it that well and them pushing it the way they are isn't helping  They should definitely make clear Bighit is BTS' company still or else all the other companies under HYBE will just be seen as... the same

I think it was mentioned before but Kakao is a good example, they own both Starship (IVE) and High Up (Stayc) which kind of collide in concept image etc but... people don't really see them the same way as ''Hybe groups''

I don't think being "relatable" as your main selling point is viable in the long-run though. Like... Look at idk... Taylor Swift or Jennifer Lawrence? I feel like these "relatable" celebrities always have some form of reckoning when they do something a little problematic. A lot of the fans they attract tend to be really sensitive when it comes to anything that can be construed as problematic. So looking at it that way, I don't think it's such a bad thing Giselle had her scandal early.
