Truly a shocking development. Honestly Hikky had one of the stronger song selections although the latest updates gave us a sign she might be underperforming unfortunately. 

 

All in all her missing the Top 5 and only 1 song in the top 10 is crazy.

AMIT: never gets old, chills every time 

madonnas: A good slice of drama-pop, even if the album cover is VERY MISLEADING

Graves: Perhaps the most beautiful song in her entire discography, a sitar-lead ballad is a rare treat. There's depth here that wasn't present on the earlier albums, in fact she was kinda serving teen popstar flavor of the moment before this era, which is why it really feels like this track is the moment Hikaru grew up.

Kyle-x: Girls, DEEP RIVER is such a beautiful album and song ugh.

Curaga: Hitting those high notes  That's my fav part of the song! They ate this. Still not a personal 10 though, oop 🙊

AMIT: truly feels like you're bathing in a fairy fountain, incredible song

Graves: Play is not my favorite Namie album, but this might just be my favorite Namie song! This electro-R&B marching band banger is one of the most fun and chaotic pieces of J-pop I've ever heard and I was sold from my first play. I always thought that Namie's music from this period made for one of the easiest entry points into J-pop for an English listener, it sounds familiar enough while still totally unique at the same time. Universal goodness!

Kyle-x: Kinda insane this wasn't a single.

Curaga: Kinda seems like an extended intro type song, but, mama, I am marching!

AMIT: major bop, luvv this entire album except for a single certain song
