I'm not nervous too. Just excited. But I get why some are nervous. It's been years and we have no idea what the songs will sound like

Structurally an amapiano beat makes no sense unless they're going to shorten and rearrange it. Amapiano takes a while to get to its climax, so I don't really see it if the song has such an important role in the film as they've suggested it does.

It could still have some afro-pop/afro-beat influence given the film and its theme but we really don't know. If the film ends with a cliffhanger then I expect something more upbeat. If it's a resolve at the end of the film then something slow makes sense. 

 

It's the other song that's not in the end of the film that's more of a wildcard than the other one

I’m not as nervous. Rihanna does not miss. Especially when it comes to Lead singles. She’s gonna serve quality as she has the last 9 times (if we include FFS). I’m more anxious about the wait since I’m so excited and we’re still a couple days away 

I think something everyone should have in mind is that the songs are tailored to fit the film. This isn't her album and the songs are supposed to correspond with the film, so I'll understand if some stans are nervous but it's only reasonable to treat these songs as film songs and not album songs.

That’s also why I’m not super nervous nor will meltdown if it doesn’t do well charting wise.

Tbh wherever this charts will be impressive.

 

Shes dropping the same day 14 other known artists are dropping; 1 of them being an album bomb. Also she will have combat the stability of Taylor, Bad Bunny, Harry, Morgan, Lil Baby and that Unholy song thats already charting.

I know what you mean but for example this is a new song by German artist using Amapiano....lol and it " Works " lowkey and RIhanna would sound sick on one but we will see but my gut feeling is saying it ....it def will be Afro Beat influenced though i think.....

And I just remembered I saw the BP trailer yesterday when I went to see Don’t Worry Darling… If you had any doubts about the movie being bad just go see the trailer…
