Also I have no doubts Rih would skate on an amapiano production. Just wasn't sure if that kind of beat would work with the film but I see your point.

Sledgehammer was just bizarre to me. She was possessed by Sia in those vocals to the extent that Sia may as well have released it herself. 

 

Her movie songs have not so far delivered but I'm hopeful that this is the one ... 

I’m curious to hear if the tone of her vocals have changed post-pregnancy 

I wonder what the names of the new songs are and who produced them 

 

or if the song is BOTH R9 lead single and sound track

Diamonds was the same way. But one was a huge hit and everyone jumped to love it.

 

The other one didn't.

 

I'm not happy that the Navy (or anyone in that case) determine the quality of a song because of it's chart success.

 

I feel the same way about Taylor right now.... It seems like if you say anything bad about her it's because of bitterness, because it's doing such big numbers that those dictate above everything else. I'm sorry but Taylor's album is not good enough. And got an 85 on MC because it's hers and the ammount of sales it's getting. I'm sorry.

 

The same way with Rihanna. For me some of her BEST singles and songs didn't perform as well....

I hope that those who were complaining she’s doing a sountrack, now understand how much money Disney is going to spend to promote this, and how benefitial that is for Rih in the long term.

She is partnered with Disney/Apple/NFL/Spotify/Dej Jam and in the way she is releasing UNDER HER OWN LABEL. So she is not only in charge... She is getting them coins. $$
