Maybe yes, maybe no. Katy announced Lenny Kravitz way before the press conference but she never said Missy Elliott's name when she was asked at the conference. All she said was “It will be a throwback of sorts that definitely needed some more shine. All I can say is it will be a real female fun night. When this person enters the stage and you hear the first ring of a chord, I think jaws will drop and faces will melt.” . IIRC Beyonce never talked about the guests. That's my guess for tomorrow. She may be asked, but no way she answers that question.

It would warm my heart if she were to include Pon de Replay on Sunday.

That would be such a full circle moment. It's the song she debuted with and where most of us fell in love with her.

 

I remember seeing the video on TV non stop and dancing along to it in my bedroom as my 13-year old self. From that moment on, this woman changed my life in so many ways. I even have a Rih tattoo lol. Looking back at her career, it's crazy how much she's done and achieved, and worked! I think back then we almost took it for granted, how often she released new studio albums. She worked her *ss of, and it paid off. She's a legend, she's an icon, she's the badgal!
