She released Self-titled in Dec of 2013 (same year she did the SB). She released formation just before SB 2016 and Lemonade in April of 2016

It makes sense to release the new album and tour for it this year so that people can stop teasing her and she can take another music hiatus.

Yeah that Diamonds video Apple Music made is great and really well made.

Hope we'll get more of that in the days leading up to the show.

 

I can't believe that we're possibly getting a tour announcement this week too!

If she's doing residencies, I hope she also announces a couple of European cities.

So there's still a possibility for an album this year, and it may not be just after the SB.

I’m still really rooting for Pon de Replay to be on the set list. Would love a proper dancehall/reggae moment with What’s My Name/Work/Rude Boy and maybe some kinda interpolation of Man Down. I feel like she can get away with doing shorter snippets of these songs compared to some of her other ones.

 

I personally don’t like We Found Love much anymore but get that it’s one of her most iconic songs, so I’d prefer her to either open with that or have it somewhere in the middle. Though I do see the vision for it being the closing song I’ll just be a bit like ughhh ok  

 

I’d love for her to close with either Umbrella or Diamonds. The former song’s choreography with umbrellas and the last part of the show being “it’s raining, raining” with some cool effects sounds so iconic to me. With Diamonds I get it’s slower so not to everyone’s taste as a closing song, but at least it’s a midtempo ballad and finishing with the big note at the end would be an iconic vocal moment
