Honestly I think those tweets by the Variety journalist are simply assuming that Gaga and Rih will perform - I don't think he had any official confirmation. And not every song has to be performed, even though most usually are.

This is too much effort from Rih 
So she is definetly releasing music afterwards

He is pretty legit tho. Variety usually doesn't post without checking the sources 

 

Except with DC james Gunn mess. But we all know James was saving face with that.
