for the first time in a long time…. I’m getting excited again! I think bc I had taken a step back for the past month and never really gave into the idea of May like everyone else. But something has me semi hopeful for June!

June works, but they really can’t delay past June. Like, I just don’t see the public waiting for Normani to arrive much longer. June works because that means we get a BET Awards performance for Candy Painted. 

 

BET Award nominations are this week. Wild Side should get *something* which means Normani should at least be attending. Like, let’s get her in the room first then beg for a performance.

i need her and the dancers to be throwing ass whilst stood on the hoods of candy painted cars, and then i need her to post a 10 second tiktok of it a week before release so we can get a cute viral moment and a number 1 debut (like j*ck h*rlow did with first class)

They literally could do the SAME EXACT THING Jack Harlow’s team did and put a video of her in the studio just jamming to the song or even in the booth “recording” the vocals. Then, if that doesn’t catch. Do another tiktok just lip syncing the lyrics + a transition in looks from her home to like the single cover shoot or something.

 

This could not be easier to market, it’s a bop. Like you can’t go wrong. Her team and everyone at the label is so difficult, just let me in the room for a sec. Like that naked painting for Fair was NOT IT. Let me plan the tiktoks from now on.

I want Thee Stallion & Doja. As for the males, I'm hoping we get a collab with JBieb (for the streams), Whack Harlow (for the streams) & Miguel/Lucky Daye.

She already has one feature with Cardi. I think a max of 4-5 would be okay. If she's sticking with her all female idea i'd like to see Doja, Ari, Meg and Lauren (for the OG fans).

Doja definitely. A collab with FKA twigs would produce some incredible visuals. Idk who else, obviously we have Cardi already so I think 3 is a cute number.

I really don't want Ariana on the album, idk why, I just don't feel like we need that. I hope for Doja, Megan, SZA, Lil Nas X or Jack Harlow and also a legend like someone just said above - Brandy, Ciara, Janet or even maybe Missy Elliot. I think we're getting 5/6 features (couting Cardi)

2. Khalid for a Love Lies 2 serve (but for some reason Normani seems against it and her and khalid aren’t as close anymore for whatever reason)

3. Ariana (this is super optional but would be cute I guess)

4. Cardi is already on the album 

5. SZA

6. Weeknd or Bruno or Justin Bieber (this is strictly because we need the streaming points)

 

If Normani wasn’t in a crunch for streaming points, I would rather 6 be Lucky Daye or 6lack then, 3 be Victoria Monet, Bree Runway, or Chloe Bailey/ChloexHalle.
