It would be a nice fit but ion know Insomnia doesn't really remind me of the track that Normani said inspired her. I might be wrong tho idk

Both instrumentals are mainly made of layered harmonies and electric guitar so I'm pretty sure that's what she meant

Okay, so initially I did agree it wasn't the same song. What convinced me was some of the elements of Insomnia and the Brandy song Normani referenced, the slight guitar moment, how the vocal stacks and ad libs are used, how empty the song starts (and that lonely vibe), etc. 

 

Also, I think people spilled Insomnia was produced by Stargate.

She showed up so we're getting the track list soon.

The intro to Insomnia is so Brandy coded with the stacked vocals.

 I personally love "Insomnia" and think it fits well with the album, so I'm glad it made the final cut. Now I just need to find out if "Black Woman," "Nah Nah Nah," and "Still" made it too.
