Did they cut the entire stair finale scene of That's Entertainment? It was shortened to like 20 seconds. Gaga really had no solo musical number in this whole film.

Ngl the low score is kind of iconic?  Like of course Fad would give an acclaimed performance in one of the worst movies of the year, it's just so Gaga 

I wonder if she's even going to acknowledge the soundtrack dd. Maybe if the official account posts about it she'll just share it in her stories.

I do hope her next movie is HER movie. She needs to find someone who will build a movie completely around her

I meant to say big, her numbers are all so subdued and the final That's Entertainment performance should've been more grandiose like what was leaked.

Tbh, unless she had betrayed him in some big way, doing That's Entertainment on the stairs would make little sense. That performance had a sense of celebration (of her betrayal) and distraction (to give cops time to arrive behind her). None of that happened so that being scrapped makes sense to me.

I think they filmed multiple versions of that scene then just chose one they felt fit.

 

Okay the movie was not the train wreck the fake news media is making it out to be 

 

but it was kinda pointless. Gaga's role wasn't needed. You could cut this movie down to 15-20 minutes and just tack it onto the end of the first joker

I think there must have been more that was cut or modified besides that stairs scene in the version we got because I agree with you that it wouldn't make sense.

 

We know that in the original ending Harley kills Arthur and I never got the vibe she wanted to kill him in the film so I think a lot more was changed.

I really like the way Todd made Joker not be the real Joker tbh. I think that was basically the main point of the movie… that Arthur didn't truly have what it takes to be Joker, and was never meant to be the real Joker, but introduced the idea to society. The real Joker kills the fake Joker, and thus a villain is born. Arthur used the Joker persona as a coping mechanism, but by the time he himself realized it, it was too late because the movement was uncontrollable. It was smart tbh. And I really hate the hate the ending is getting because I think the narrative and storytelling is very strong in this sense.

He realised that tying Joker and Batman as siblings in the first film is a bad idea  So, he needed to take the action. 

 

The fact that this is getting panned makes me really excited. I usually love what people hate and hate what people love, so I hope this is no exception. We'll see.

 

Ok I just finished watching Joker, it's not bad, for me I think it's better than HOG, even better than ASIB. I love this movie. Don't fall for the narrative. The quality of everyone's performance is soooo good. You don't need very intense scripts to produce a good movie.

But I understand the hate towards this movie, but I really like it.  Everyone should just trust themselves and have their own opinion.
