So I wouldn't be surprised if this sequel ends up the same way, especially since the first Joker had weaknesses in editing and script. The only thing I hope for is that the high budget is evident in the VFX, dreamy sets and cinematography, and that Gaga and Phoenix's performances and musical numbers can elevate the film.
