Niche-Alt popgirls (or artists) has been mine in the last years (Jessie Ware, Kali Uchis, Kelela that I often mention) who are by the way excellent also in live performances, lately I got into the St.Vincent album after the suggestions in here and it's really amazing as well, musically they have been lot more interesting for me than the popular girls you mentioned.

 

Or discover older and more mature artists with a rich discography to check, in the last year I got into Sade, her music is excellent and timeless, recently I'm doing the same with Depeche Mode.

 

 

For me, Miley and Doja are closest to her. Miley sonically is very similar to Gaga and Doja is visually interesting but sometimes goes too far.

Gaga is like first love though, i do enjoy others music, but don't stan them.

I don't get the hype around met gala you would talk about it one day and go back to countdowns/album ranking very next day.

I am waiting for J:Fad era to fully start.

meh its not like gaga was a such a constant met gala guest, wasn't her first time on the red carpet in 2015? she was performing back in 2010 but didn't walk it 

I know what business Gaga is and all but the MET Gala has to be one of the most pretentious events in the industry with zero substance. I, for one, dont really care for it.

It would be an interesting fashion event if the celebrities invited would actually follow the theme, but very few do.

 

Even my grandma at Church has served more interesting outfits than this.
