Yes they did as I remember. You need to have vinyls to be ready on the release week if you want them counted towards BB100 points.

So then that twitter user is technically correct when it comes to Vinyls needing to be made before release, but that does not stop a lead single or announcement.  

The silver lining in Gaga teasing is that she seems excited about the music she's working on, which would be a welcomed change.

 

We've gone through enough eras of her essentially complaining about having to record her albums.

Wouldn't that be just Chromatica? I don't recall her complaining about recording any other album before. But even then, 1 era like that is more than enough. We want PASSION again.

I feel like there were a few Joanne interviews speaking to her having troubles recording the music, which was understandable coming out of a traumatic era like Artpop. It was also during those years where she wanted to give up music before Tony stepped in.

 

She exuded passion with ASIB, Top Gun Soundtrack, and Hold My Hand, but it would be great for her formal studio material to get that kind of love again.

Yeah the more popular method now seems to be releasing various digital versions (instrumental, a cappella, sped up, slowed down, various remixes) to digital stores like iTunes and Amazon in order to accumulate digital sales vs relying on vinyls like a few years ago. Those are really only reserved for albums these days. 

HMH was recorded with the same team as Chromatica, in the same studio etc. She’s always saying how her past albums are all important to her and how the recording process of each one was liberating, filled with tears, joy, sadness and happiness. 

It’s crazy that there has been no L-words this time around 

If she keeps posting old studio pictures for months and there's no new music coming out anytime soon, then I'd say she's punishing us for not making "Love For Sale" a #1 album.

Yeah but she still wanted to make that record whereas BP had to drag her ass to studio for Chromatica. So I see them a bit differently in that sense.
