Honey, I'm not pretending anything. Camila is a B-lister at best. She's no threat to anyone  However, she is signed with Interscope Records. If you examine their release schedule, you will notice that they never release music from two of their artists on the same week. This decision is not based on Camila's popularity, but rather on the fact that if they have already scheduled a release for her, they will not overshadow her with Gaga's release, which will undoubtedly be a more significant event.

I'm #TeamQ1 and you know it, I'm just pointing out the releases schedule of the next few months. 

 

 

+ Oh sorry I didn't see the part regarding Camila. In my opinion, a release on the 16th is more likely than on the 23rd, as Dua Lipa is not signed to UMG or Interscope. (Even if Dua is definitely stronger than Selena)

 

However, we are not privy to their thought processes or internal strategies. It is possible that they have a large number of artists seeking releases and may not be concerned about scheduling conflicts between Selena and Gaga (or Gaga and Camila). They may believe that their audiences do not overlap significantly and thus will not cannibalize each other's success. 

 

We just have to wait 

 

(It is certainly an unfortunate timing for a release, given the current crowded market. It is worth noting that both 2023 and early February were relatively quiet periods, but it is what it is)
