her refusing to expand her horizons and join the latin music explosion reminds me of her refusing to work with DJ's on her off years in 2012 and 2014. So many memorable collabs could have been released.

and now is the time to do it, her monthly listeners are exceptional at nearly 54M with no studio album since 2020. The demand is there in streaming. It's not like she's at her pre-Joanne era streaming slump. People are listening.

Because Gaga has been a Rolling Stone and rock music fan for YEARS. Just because the song didn't smash doesn't mean she shouldn't have done it or just because a song is attached to a currently-hot-act doesn't mean she should do it

Read that statement again for me. You know including the end that you didnt bold. It only holds true as a whole, not in pieces.

 

She can be part of any collab she wants for the sake of being a rock n roll or jazz fan or whatever. The problem isn't her collabing with RS. The problem is her willingness to collabs being limited to this idea that she's working with these legends but is above current artists, who are really great artists. No one is begging her to collab with Addison Rae but have these artists who have shown so much admiration for her work, like Bad Bunny, be met with the same respect? It's a win-win if they collab'd. But it's been 15 years of being a fan of hers so it's quite obvious that her refusal to work with newer acts is intentional.

Calling SSOH "a collab no one remembers after a week" implies that the song has little to no importance. This might be the case for you (if you are a success stan) but it definitely is not the case for her. However, I strongly believe that if she did collaborate with Bad Bunny (or other popular acts that have been echoed in this base for last years), no matter the song smashes or not, she would forget about it in less than a week. Because let's be real, she is very selective when it comes to collaborating with artists and that is the type of artist she is. She likes hanging out with legacy acts or artists that she feels a genuine connection with like Ariana. 

 

And also, we've known that Gaga shows her support, respect and admiration for other artists mostly in private, her not collaborating with them does not mean she is not respecting them. Not everything needs to be show off.
